PROFILE: DR. PRINCE AGASHE

Dr. Prince Ajay Kumar T. Agashe (1976) SAARC Fellow appointed as a Librarian in Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work Nagpur (INDIA). Previously he has worked as a Librarian in Shrikrishnadas Jajoo Grameen Sewa Mahavidyalaya, Pipri - Wardha (INDIA). He is postgraduate in Botany and Library and Information Science. "Erdtmann Memorial Prize" winner for scoring highest marks in M. Sc. Botany Final year palynology Specilization. He has qualified SET (State Eligibility Test) in Library and information Science in 2007. Awarded  Ph. D. (Doctoral degree) in Library and Information Science in 2008. He is in the profession since 2003. He has worked as Qualified Library Assistant, Senior Library Assistant, Junior Library Assistant in R T M Nagpur University, Nagpur. Published several research papers in National & International Journals, Conferences and Seminars and has more than 50 Research papers to his credit. He has successfully completed training programms on " Design and development of Digital Library by using GSDL at NISCAIR, Delhi. (12- 17 july 2010). He has awarded SAARC Fellowship (INDIA) by SAARC Documentation Center, New Delhi 2010 and also successfully completed One Month training programm on " Information Technology for Information Management" by SAARC Documentation Center, New Delhi. 4th Oct - 4th Nov. 2010. He is Life member of ILA, SALIS and LISAA, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. He is Ph. D. Supervisor in LIS, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur and Member, Board of Studies-  Solapur University, Solapur. He organised University level Workshop - 2011.
